Tauranga, Dunedin schools attracting votes

With just five days left until voting closes, Merivale School in Tauranga and King's and Queen's High Schools in Dunedin are well out in front of the competition to gain the most support as the participants in the best Super Haka video.

Both schools performed rousing indoor hakas as their way of showing support for the people of Christchurch as they continue the recovery after two devastating earthquakes. Students from King's High School were at The Octagon in Dunedin for that city's event as part of a four-city Super Haka on May 19.

At 5pm today, King's and Queen's High School's video had received 385 votes, with Merivale second on 273 votes, about 200 ahead of the next most popular video.

Voting closes at noon on Monday, May 30, with the submitter of the winning video receiving $2000. Get voting now!!
