Super Haka: The Movie
After hours of planning, promotion and preparation, 3600 New Zealanders gathered in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin for a massive show of support for the people of Christchurch as they recover from two devastating earthquakes.
A joint initiative of Super Shuttle and Ngai tahu, the Super Haka was a uniquely Kiwi way to say "we love you" and "we're thinking of you". In this video, we share some of the sights and sounds of this event that said so much.
Kiwis at home and abroad, you can perform your own Super Haka for the people of Christchurch and upload it on our website under the Videos link. Videos can be uploaded until noon on 30 May and the person whose video gets the most votes will win $2000.
So get haka-ing and get uploading.
